Le Monde de l’Intelligence recently published an article co-authored by Mary Helen Immordino-Yang and Rebecca Todd of the University of Toronto titled, “Mieux décider, mémoriser ou négocier: L’émotion à la rescousse.” (“Better decisions, memorizing or negotiating: emotion to the rescue.”) The article notes that although it was long thought that reason and emotion do not work well together, new research has shown that emotion can positively influence our cognitive processes.
