Dr. David Dwyer will provide opening remarks at the USC Education Month Opening Panel on Monday, March 4, at USC Bovard Auditorium, from 7 to 9 p.m. Dwyer will discuss the new public charter school, USC Hybrid High School, in the context of the country’s need for alternative education environments and reform.
His opening remarks will be followed by a panel discussion featuring LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy, singer-songwriter John Legend, Camino Nuevo CEO Ana Ponce, and Hrag Hamalian, founder and head of Valor Academy.
USC Education Month is the first national student-led movement and discussion about the state of education in our country, and focuses on providing USC students the opportunity to learn how to become social advocates for education.
