CUE report is included in online College Board toolkit

The Center for Urban Education’s report “Using Data and Inquiry to Build Equity-focused College-Going Cultures” is a key part of “Leading Success,” a new online toolkit by the College Board Advocacy and Policy Center.  The toolkit promotes college access and is comprised of several interactive learning modules and activities.

“Using Data and Inquiry to Build Equity-focused College-Going Cultures” funded and published by the National College Access Network, followed two Boston public high schools as they underwent CUE’s Equity Scorecard™ process and included recommendations for the district, school leaders, and college access providers focusing on the collection of data and encouragement of an inquiry based evaluation process that would move public schools towards a more equitable and college-going culture.  The online toolkit and the included learning modules work towards this same goal.

The lead author of the report, Tiffany Jones, is a CUE Research Assistant and USC Rossier School of Education PhD Student.  The report was coauthored by CUE Co-Directors Estela Bensimon and Alicia Dowd and Tia McNair of the Association of American College and Universities.
